2016 ICON PROGRESSION

January was a bit embarrasing, to be quite honest. The first batch of icons was Reign themed and even though some icons are quite decent, I'm not really satisfied with how they look. The second post is definitely better, it was my entry for 20muses and those Doctor Who icons, the way they turned out, made me enjoy experimenting and today still they inspire me to do better. The third entry is a bit of a mess, I had claimed Daenerys for character20n20 but never managed to finish all twenty icons. This one was my favourite.

The HMC icons for 10in30 were the ones that allowed me to go crazy with blendings and probably the only ones because I haven't felt as inspired as I was while doing them since February. The second icon was instead made for 20 muses and although the set looks a bit ugly to me now (like, it could definitely be improved) it's one of my absolute favourites because it truly was fun to work on the caps. The last entry was a multifandom batch and not really experimental.

More The White Queen icons in March! Interesting challenge at 20muses again, and probably one of the simplest yet somewhat appealing batch I've made. I like most of them, and I loved the close crops. The reason I chose to show this teal icon is mainly text. I miss using text but I lost all inspiration, so I hope this will push me to try again. Second set of icons was all about Daredevil and I don't like it at all. I was in a rush and if I could go back in time I'd change everything. Still, this one icon with Karen looks lovely (I'm shocked @ my own words!!!). Last entry is again a bit messy but I am quite proud of the Doctor Who icons.

April was again a very interesting month, challenge-wise, but a bit boring because of my entries. Nothing exceptional apart from some crops which I find impossible to remake ??? and lighting in Clara's icons.

May was the month of extremely grungy icons. And crazy colours sometimes. I made my yellow/purple icons for the7days and a multifandom set for 20muses.

My first entry this month was quite creative, I made some of my favourite icons for various contests at nonstopicons and one of the most cohesive batches for 20muses' last challenge.

It was REALLY hard to get back to iconing after two whole months but this one entry for theseasonwheel is one of my absolute favourites. I learned how to make animated icons and it honestly made me very happy because it was something I had always wanted to do so yeah, October was sweet.

November was again a bit meh because I was still super busy IRL and the results are somewhat weird and yet, those vibrant Victoria icons look cute.

Quite surprising that two of the icons I like best are remakes of previous ones and not 100% new ones, lol.

Overall this year was a mess because I couldn't be here as much as I has hoped and I think those three months in which I didn't make icons would've made the difference.
I hope to have more time in the future and I hope to improve and look at the past in a different way. :)
Also, I want to thank you all for stopping by and leaving kind comments, I truly appreciate your support and it warms my heart to think you actually took some time to come here and write a few lines.
